Elevated Therapeutic Massage LLC
FAQ
What to expect at my first massage?
After filling out your intake forms (online or in person) your therapist will go over them with you and get any additional information needed. It is very important during this time to let your therapist know about your goals and needs. We will then walk you through what to expect during the session before leaving the room for you to undress to your comfort level.
We want you to be in the know regarding our services and treatments. Below you’ll find answers to our clients’ frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What do I wear to a massage?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that will be easy to get in and out of for your session. Before your session starts your licensed massage therapist will walk you through getting onto the table and draping. Just remember you undress to your comfort level for your session, meaning undergarments staying on is perfectly acceptable.

Will I be sore after a massage?
After a session your therapist will talk with you about after care and what to anticipate.
Depending on the type and length of massage you receive you may expect light soreness the following day. Working out muscle tension is like working muscles out in a gym a "good'' sore means you are heading in the right direction! Drinking lots of water can help alleviate any discomfort you may experience.

What kind of massage is right for me?
Massage therapy has many different styles and modalities. Fully filling out intake forms and talking with your therapist is the best way to figure out what will work best for you. Remember speaking up during your session about changing pressure, temp., or positioning is welcomed. Anything to make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable is our priority.
