Swedish Massage known as a “classic massage” in many countries, this type of massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.
Deep Tissue Massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage but with a deep tissue massage, your therapist applies slow, firm pressure to release muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
One massage does not fit all. With your input, we create a custom massage session that addresses your specific needs. Personalized massage sessions may incorporate a variety of modalities or techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, reflexology, fire cupping, myofascial release, stretching, and range of motion to arrive at a treatment that is totally individualized to each client.
TRADITIONAL CHINESE FIRE CUPPING THERAPY is an ancient Eastern method of releasing stuck connective tissue, as well as muscle fibers. Some practitioners refer to it as 'reverse deep tissue.' The cups are left in place approximately 10-15 minutes before removing.This is a great option for anyone that doesn't have time for a full body or longer session but needs in depth work in a certain area.
